Welcome to Whoof Kids Camp! Here’s the basics about what we have planned for summer 2024 activities!
What and Who and Where
A full day, full week of day camp for kids ages 8-14, at our awesome clubhouse at Pier 7 marina in Edgewater, MD
This camp will involve a combination of activities from kayaking, arts and crafts, basic dog obedience skills, and learning about our local environment on the Chesapeake Bay.
The kayaking portion will begin with kids learning basic paddling skills. From there we will explore Warehouse Creek on kayaks and do some fun activities like relay races and scavenger hunts. Because Whoof has a heart for dogs, we’ll be teaching some basic dog obedience skills with some visiting pups.
Our arts and crafts program will involve various projects throughout the summer, including clay works, painting, group murals, crafting and more.
IMPORTANT! Campers should know how to swim, and should bring their own lunch, water, snacks, sunscreen, bathing suit, hat, towel and change of clothes.
When
There will by three (3) 1-week, full-day camps on June 17-21, July 8-12, and July 29-August 2.
Each camp runs for one week, Monday through Friday from 9-4.
How Much
Cost for each week of camp is $445
Regular drop off is between 8:30-9:00. Early drop-off (starting at 7:30) and late pickup (until 5:30) are available, and can be purchased on site in the clubhouse as needed ($5 each time), or bought in advance for the whole week at a 20% discount at the time of registration.
